I’m a little late on the mark here. I know that these “thankful posts” are supposed to come out right before Thanksgiving. However, I have lately had cause to think about all of the good in my life, and especially about all of the people I owe that to. So, I would like to take some time to acknowledge what, and who, I have to be thankful for, just in time for Christmas.
I’m thankful for my family.
I’m thankful for my wonderful boyfriend.
I’m thankful for my spacious, cozy, and affordable apartment.
I’m thankful for a job that I enjoy and that challenges me (and I’m thankful that my company cares for me as well).
I’m thankful for my friends and support network, near and far.
I’m thankful for my good health.
I’m thankful for my superb education and all of the support I received along the way.
I’m thankful that I am able to support myself right out of school.
I’m thankful for everyone who reads this blog.
And those are just the major thanks. Every day there are a myriad of smaller things that I am thankful for as well – a good meal, a rewarding book, a hot cup of tea… The list goes on.
So take a moment and think today. What are you thankful for, and who should you be thanking?
